Abstract:
To provide a magnetizing method which can arrange the magnetizing directions in a magnet to a predetermined direction.
The magnetizing method has a step for storing a magnet 12 to be magnetized in a magnetizing holder 1 having an equal or nearly equal magnetic permeability to the one of the magnet 12, a step for storing in a magnetizing coil the magnetizing holder 1 in the state of storing in it the magnet 12, and a step for so applying actively the magnetic flux generated by the magnetizing coil as to magnetize the magnet 12 in one axial direction. The magnetizing holder 1 includes an upper holder 1a and a lower holder 1b, and has a space 1c for storing the magnet 12 in the state of surrounding the whole surface of the magnet 12.
