Title:
MAGNETRON FOR MICROWAVE OVEN
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2579118
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To suppress the reduction in filament current accompanying a tempera ture rise and keep a normal oscillation by connecting a resistor whose resistance value is increased by the temperature rise in parallel to an electron generating filament.
CONSTITUTION: When a power source voltage is applied to filament input terminals F1, F2, a harmonic signal is generated by the action of a resonator when the electron generated from a filament 15 is moved toward a positive electrode 16. In such a constitution, a resistor R whose resistance value is increased by a temperature rise is connected in parallel to the filament 15. The temperature of the positive electrode 16 is raised by collision of electrons in the operating state of a magnetron, and it is transmitted to the resistor R through an envelope, a stem ceramic 14, and filament support bars 13a, 13b. Since the filament current is the difference between the current carried to terminals F1, F2 and the current carried to the resistor R, the current of the resistor R is reduced by the increase in resistance value of the resistor R accompanying the temperature rise, and the reduction in filament current can be thus suppressed.
