Abstract:
To provide a tool adapter maintaining a main spindle body without replacing it even if a tool holder installation surface is abraded/damaged by attachment/detachment of a tool holder and improving the cleanness of the installation surface of the tool holder.
This tool holder adapter 17, which is formed with a shaft part having a shape corresponding to an insertion hole formed in the front part of the main spindle body 15 in its rear surface, opened with a tapered hole 14a having a shape corresponding to a tapered shank part of the tool holder 30 in its front surface, and opened with an injection hole toward the rear end surface of the tool holder 30 in its front surface, is interposed between the tool holder 30 and the main spindle body 15.
