Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable painting work to be improved in workability by providing an elevator beam and a footboard on a dock arranged in opposition to the surface of a vertical fail wing and loading a gondola for painting work on the elevator beam. CONSTITUTION:A range to be coated can be continuously painted by disposing a dock 12 in opposition to the surface of a vertical fail wing 3 and then holding the state of food boards 14 retreated from the opposing positions and guiding a elevator beam 17 to make vertical motion while forcing a gondola 13 for painting work to make reciprocating motion along the elevator beam 17. Then, works such as repair can be carried out by making each foot board 14 to project into each opposing position, while retreating the gondola 13 and the elevator beam 17 to the upper end area or the like of the dock 12. In addition, in the case of making confirmation test of a rudder, the test can be carried out without hindering movement of the rudder by retreating only foot boards 14 without moving the dock 12. Thus, painting, repair, confirmation test, etc., can be carried out efficiently.
