To obtain the subject agent that has excellent make-up removing effect and shows excellent applicability by using a surfactant of ethylene oxide- added polypropylene glycol and an oil component.
This make-up removing agent is obtained by formulating (A) 1-10 wt.% of an ethylene oxide-added polypropylene glycol surfactant having the following basic structure of the formula: (C3H6O)b-(C2H4)cH ((b) and (c) are each an integer) (B) 1-20 wt.% of an oil component as silicone oil and, when necessary, (C) 20-90 wt.% of water, ethanol, surfactant other than the component A, a thickener, a preservative, an antioxidant, a microbicide, drugs, a perfume, colorants. In a preferred embodiment, the component A is a compound of the formula: HO(C2H4O)a-(C3H6)b-(C2H4)c H (a-c are each an integer, a+c is 5-200, (b) is 5-100) or a compound of the formula (b), (c) are each an integer; the content of ethylene oxide is 20-70% in the molecule).
