Title:
MALE SCREW FOR FIXING VIBRATION SUPPRESSOR, AND DISPLAY DEVICE HAVING THE SAME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2008261413
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a male screw 1 for fixing a vibration suppressor 2, which can accurately determine the fixing position of the vibration suppressor 2 and also prevent the breakage of the vibration suppressor 2 due to the rubbing.

The vibration suppressor 2 having a circular through-hole 21 is attached to a supporting body 3 having a threaded hole 31 formed therein by means of the male screw 1. The male screw 1 is configured so as to have a threaded portion 11 to be screwed into the threaded hole 31, an intermediate stem portion 13 which is continued to the threaded portion 11, and has a diameter larger than the threaded portion 11, and is brought into contact with the inner peripheral surface of the circular hole 21, and a head portion 15 which is continued to the intermediate stem portion 13, and has a diameter larger than that of the intermediate stem portion 13, wherein a concave portion is provided on the outer circumferential surface of the intermediate stem portion 13 so as to reduce the contact area with the inner circumferential surface of the circular hole 21. As a result, the contact resistance of the intermediate stem portion 13 with the inner circumferential surface of the circular hole 21 can be reduced.
