Abstract:
To provide means for suppressing power consumption in the whole image formation system.
A management device is connected in a communicable manner to plural image formation devices operating in any of two or more power modes mutually different in power consumption and to plural host devices for transmitting print instructions for executing image formation on the image formation devices. The management device includes means for obtaining application information on application programs operating on the host devices from the host devices and means for switching the power modes of the image formation devices on the basis of the obtained application information.
