To provide an entry/exit managing system with general versatility, which ensures smooth entry/exit of persons as much as possible, and at the same time inhibits an unauthorized person from slipping into a building.
According to the entry/exit managing system, at least at the time of entry to the building, opening/closing control of an automatic door 3 is carried out based on an ID or a password input via input means 4, 5, and management of entry to/exit from the building 1 is carried out. The entry/exit managing system is comprised of an entry/exit managing means for controlling an automatic door drive unit 30 which is changed in setting when a single person entry/exit instruction, i.e. entry/exit of a single person to/from the building, is input via the input means at the time of the entry/exit, at least to one of the following modes: that is, a mode of a narrower opening width of an entrance than that of an ordinary entry/exit; a mode of a shorter opening time period of the entrance; and a mode of a faster opening/closing speed of the automatic door.
