Abstract:
To efficiently separate and recover metal from a calcined LIB (lithium ion secondary battery).SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a method for leaching out manganese from a lithium ion secondary battery and a technique relating thereto. When manganese is leached out into a solution from a lithium ion secondary battery in which a positive electrode collector and a negative electrode collector are calcined in an atmosphere with an oxygen concentration of 11 vol% or less, the pH of the solution is 4.00 or less and the ORP (3.3M KCl-Ag/AgCl) is -350 mV or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
