To provide a manually operated device for unlocking a door of an elevator capable of unlocking a landing door by manual operation without damaging a design face of a jamb or the landing door.
A pair of yoke bars 22 made of a magnetic material are provided in a projecting manner on a face on a hoistway side of the landing door 6, and a movable iron piece 23 bridges between the yoke bars 22 so as to advance, retract, and move. The movable iron piece 23 and a swing lever 11 are mutually connected by a wire 30 to pull the movable iron piece 23 by a locking spring 15 when locking so that it leaves the landing door 6. When unlocking by manual operation, a magnet 32 is brought close to a section where the yoke bars 22 are provided in the projecting manner from a landing side by human labor to form a magnetic circuit 32m via the yoke bars 22 and the movable iron piece 23 and attract and move the movable iron piece 23 to the landing door 6 side. Thereby, the swing lever 11 is pulled by the wire 30 and swinged against the locking spring 15 for unlocking.
