Abstract:
PURPOSE: To manufacture a battery having a spiral-shaped electrode by which uniform electrode reaction can be obtained.
CONSTITUTION: An electrode sheet formed by applying a paste-like kneading mix 20 in a prescribed length with every prescribed interval to a belt-like metallic sheet, is cut off in a prescribed length, and is formed as electrodes 40 and 50, and a battery having a power generation element wound in a spiral shape by layering the electrodes 40 and 50 on each other through a separator 60, is manufactured. The electrode sheet in this case is cut off in a position (Y) where an application layer slightly in the rear of an application starting part of the kneading mix 20 becomes almost uniform, and is formed as the electrodes 40 and 50, and is wound so that the application staring part A of the electrodes 40 and 50 becomes a winding starting point.
