PURPOSE: To provide a manufacturing method of a cathode-ray tube fitting frame capable of making compact a manufacturing device of the cathode-ray tube fitting frame and reducing the cost thereof.

CONSTITUTION: At the upper position, beltlike raw material is bent into a specified shape to form a frame body 3. The body 3 is lowered. The frame body 3 is externally fitted on a fixed metallic mold 9 having first electrodes 14a and 14b of one hand for welding and at the lower position, a connecting piece is put on a joint part 4 of one place of the frame body 3 from the outside thereof and second electrodes 15a and 15b of the other hand are pressed to perform welding and coupling. Afterward, a wedge-shaped member is inserted between two movable metallic molds 12a and 12b having corner parts of third electrodes 16a and 16b of one hand for welding and the fixed metallic mold 9, the two movable metallic moulds 12a and 12b are moved to the direction to separate mutually and the frame body 3 is fixed. Afterward, small pieces for fixing are put on the outsides of four corner parts of the frame body 3 and the fourth electrodes 17a and 17b of the other hand are pressed to weld the small pieces for fixing.
