PURPOSE: To facilitate the manufacture of a cutting tooth form by means of an NC carving machine by reading-in a drawing by means of a scanner system to send a data to a CAD system, and by preparing drawing data from separately inputted cutting conditions and NC data on data of cutting conditions.
CONSTITUTION: A drawing such as a mark or a logo are read in a scanner system 2 for drawing analysis and is inputted to a CAD system 4. Drawing analysis data and cutting conditions data are inputted to the CAD system 4. NC data are prepared based on these data. The NC data are sent to a numerical control device 5 from the CAD system. An NC carving machine 6 is driven and controlled by control under numerical value control in the numerical value control device. Cutting work is done by means of a cutter to apply cutting work to a tooth die. Heat treatment is applied to the cut tooth die in heat treatment equipment 7 to finish the required tooth die 3. Thus, the manufacture of the tooth die having high accuracy is readily done by automatic operation; and multicavity is also available.
