Abstract:
PURPOSE: To manufacture a hand belt of high quality with which snaking does not be generated in a tension member and work efficiency is excellent by providing a support device which pinches side ends of a canvas together with a placing stage and has an endless rotary body movable with proceeding of the canvas.
CONSTITUTION: There is provided a support device 14 for supporting both side ends of a bottom layer canvas 2a. The support device 14 has a chain 17 as an endless rotary body to be suspended on a driving wheel 15 and a coupled driving wheel 16. The chain 17 is provided with a plurality of claws 18 fixed thereto. The both side ends of the bottom layer canvas 2a are pinched by tips 18a of the claws 18 and a connecting part of a C-shaped part 6a and a lower part 6b of a placing stage, so that a C-shaped form of the bottom layer canvas 2a is held. Further, a claw guide 19 is provided within a range to pinch the both side ends of the bottom layer canvas 2a so as to prevent the claws 18 from turning reversely.
