Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the manufacture of the display element which can securely prevent a leak defect and a linear defect and improve the display quality and yield.
SOLUTION: For the manufacture of the liquid crystal display element equipped with semiconductor film wires 21 wired below source bus lines while separated from one another, the respective semiconductor film wires 21 are previously wired with patterns which are electrically short-circuited by short- circuiting wires 21a. In a subsequent process, the short-circuit wires 21a of the semiconductor film wires 21 are etched away to separate and arrange the respective semiconductor film wires 21 by and below the source bus lines.
