PURPOSE: To offer the manufacturing method for an electric resistance welded tube in which a large V angle can be obtained easily, and a stable welding quality is obtained without spoiling a strong point of a 2-roll type.

CONSTITUTION: A squeeze roll 1 at the time of manufacturing an electric resistance welded tube consists of a 3-roll type formed by combining a side roll 2 of only the upper flange 6, and a bottom roll 3 for taking charge of 1/4-1/2 of a caliber in a squeeze, and it is formed by inclining a rotation axis 4 of the side roll 2 by 1-10 degrees in the advance direction of a tube 5. In such a way, a stable welding quality is obtained without spoiling a strong point of a 2-roll type which can execute very easily the recombination and the position adjustment of the squeeze roll, and generation of a roll mark can be reduced remarkably.
