PURPOSE: To polarize a polarizing polymer film in a simple manufacturing process by interposing a polymer film with a low melting point between the polarizing polymer film and conductive film and then by thermally depositing it at a low temperature.
CONSTITUTION: From supply bobbin 27 wound with polarizing polymer film 14, film 14 is fed to heat roller 26 through guide roller 29-1 and at the same time, interposing polymer film 20 is also supplied from supply bobbin 28 to heat roller 26 through guide roller 29-2. Then, film 14 and interposing film 20 are stacked and the lamination body 32 sandwiched between rollers 26 is sent into heating furnace 25 at a fixed speed. The temperature in this heating furnace 25 is set within the thermal bonding temperature range of interposing film 20 and film 14 is bonded to conductive film 15 through interposing film 20. Between conductive film 15 and film 14 of lamination body 32 after the thermal bonding process, corona discharge by direct-current voltage 31 is caused through needle electrode 30 at their center for polarization film 14.
