To manufacture efficiently a food package which inflates with steam to be generated when food is heated using a microwave oven by heat-sealing the part intended for heat-sealing on the back face of web film for forming a body part and the lateral end part of the green film for forming the back face.
Web film for forming a body has two strips of part 30a, 30b intended for heat sealing formed by a forming device in such a way that the lateral end parts 20a, 20b of the film are folded toward the center of a direction in which the film flows and at the same time, are again folded outward. That is, the film for forming the body has a heat-sealable upper face. Further, the film for forming the back face is supplied from above to the upper face of the film for forming the body. After that, the lateral end part of the film for forming the back face is heat-sealed on the parts 30a, 30b intended for heat sealing formed on the film for forming the body using a heat sealing bar.
