PURPOSE: To remarkably reduce the number of production processes of a fuel cell cell to enhance productivity and to substantially reduce production cost of a fuel cell.

CONSTITUTION: A cylindrical stack is manufactured by winding a sheet-like molding 6 made of solid electrolyte forming powder on a cylindrical molding 5 made of air electrode forming powder and stacking, or stacking a sheet-like molding made of air electrode forming powder and a sheet-like molding made of solid electrolyte forming powder and cylindrically forming. They are baked in an oxidizing atmosphere to manufacture a cylindrical fuel cell cell having at least an air electrode layer and a solid electrolyte layer.
