Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide an interconnector and a fuel cell module in which gas sealing is easy when flat unit cells are stacked through interconnectors.

CONSTITUTION: In an interconnector 1, both ends of a gas passage groove 21 located on the outermost side of a substrate are connected to an adjacent gas passage groove 22. In a module, a molten glass accumulating groove is formed in the location in contact with a cell stack of a gas manifold. Coefficient of thermal expansion of the gas manifold is set so as to make smaller than that of the cell stack. Gas seal of a flat plate type SOFC is made easy, and a system utilizing the advantage of the flat type SOFC having larger power generating density compared with a cylindrical SOFC is realized.
