Abstract:
PURPOSE:To manufacture a grain-oriented magnetic steel sheet having high magnetic flux density without carrying out cold rolling by successively subjecting silicon steel stock contg. specified percentages of C, Si and Al to hot rolling at a specified finishing temp., primary annealing and secondary annealing. CONSTITUTION:Silicon steel stock contg. <=0.06wt.% C, <=4.0wt.% Si and 0.01-0.07wt.% Al is hot rolled at <=700 deg.C, preferably about 700-300 deg.C finishing temp. The resulting hot rolled sheet is successively subjected to primary annealing at about 1,050 deg.C for about 2min, rapid cooling, decarburization annealing and secondary annealing at about 1,100 deg.C for about 20hr to grow secondary recrystallized grains in (110)[001] orientation. A grain-oriented magnetic steel sheet having superior magnetic characteristics is obtd. without carrying out cold rolling.
