Title:
MANUFACTURE OF HIGH-STRENGTH HOT DIP GALVANIZED STEEL SHEET
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH01198459
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a high-strength hot dip galvanized steel sheet by a simplified means by annealing a cold rolled steel sheet with a specific composition and then subjecting the above to hot dip galvanizing in which temp. in a low temp. holding zone is controlled. CONSTITUTION:A steel having a composition consisting of, by weight, 0.10-0.20% C, <=0.30% Si, 2.0-3.0% Mn, <=0.03% P, <=0.010% S, 50-150ppm N, 0.05-0.30% Mo, 0.02-0.10% V, 0.010-0.100% solAl, and the balance Fe with accompanying impurities is cast. The resulting slab is hot-rolled directly or after reheating, which is pickled and cold-rolled and then fed to a continuous plating line. The resulting sheet is annealed up to a temp. of the recrystallization temp. or above, and then, the temp. in a low temp. holding zone is controlled to 480-560 deg.C, by which structure is regulated. Subsequently, hot dip galvanizing is applied to the above sheet in the above state. By this method, a high-strength hot dip galvanized steel sheet of about 100-120kg class can be obtained.
