PURPOSE: To retain recesses, projections, gloss and the like of a thermoplastic layer in the good condition and bond a surface forming sheet and a material to be adhered by foaming a surface protection film at the time of hot press processing.
CONSTITUTION: A surface protection film having a foaming agent containing adhesive layer is pasted on a thermoplastic layer of a surface forming sheet on one surface of base film, and the surface forming sheet and a material to be adhered are hot press processed while said foaming agent containing adhesive layer is formed treated. As for the foaming agent blended with the adhesive, an agent publicly known generating gas by heating or chemical reaction is used. Bonding is carried out in the state that the surface protection film is pasted with the thermoplastic layer. The surface protection film is foamed at the time of hot press processing by said arrangement, and the thermoplastic layer is protected. Peeling off of the surface protection film foamed by the hot press processing may be carried out just after the hot press processing, or carried out at a proper stage after necessary processing of the molded product, or else at the time of using the molded product.
