Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the mounting efficiency of laminated ceramic electronic parts by relieving the degree of recession of the side face of the parts so that the parts may be surely sucked to and held by a suction head, etc.
SOLUTION: A first laminated body is obtained by laminating ceramic green sheets carrying printed internal electrodes 5 and 7 upon another and pressed in the thickness direction. Then a second laminated body is obtained by laminating ceramic green sheets upon the upper and lower surfaces of the first laminated body, and pressed in the thickness direction with a pressure weaker than that applied in the first pressing step. Thereafter, a sintered ceramic body 14 is obtained by baking the second laminated body, and external electrodes are formed on the external surface of the sintered ceramic body 14.
