Abstract:
PURPOSE: To uniformly scatter spacers on the surface of a substrate by dropping down the dispersion solution of spacers on the surface of the substrate, and rotating the substrate.
CONSTITUTION: A substrate 6 is fixed to a rotatable stage 7, dispersion liquid 2 dispersing spacers 1 therein is dropped down on the surface of the substrate through a vessel 3, a connecting pipe 5, and a nozzle 4, the substrate 6 is rotated, and hence the spacers 1 are uniformly scattered on the surface of the substrate 6. This scattering method is very effective for scattering of the spacer of about 1μm size which is hitherto difficult.
