Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure sufficient adhesive force between an insulating wire and a sheath and prevent biting of a sheath material into the valley part between insulating wires by forming the part laid along the valley part between insulating wires of the sheath by tube extrusion and the other part by substantial extrusion. SOLUTION: A passage 8, for passing a sheath material such as polyvinyl chloride softened by heating, is formed between a die 3 and a nipple 2, and a nipple tip end part 7 is arranged so as to be situated on the inner side from a die tip end part 5. A projection part 9 extended to reach the die tip end part 5 is formed in the part situated in the valley between insulating wires of an insulating passage 6 in the nipple tip end part 7. Two projection parts 9 are arranged vertically in parallel with each other. The projection part 9 has a triangular cross sectional form, the inside part forms two equal edges with substantially the same curvature radius as the circumference of the insulating wire, and the outside part is linear. In a part laid along the valley part between the insulating wires, the sheath material is extruded gently to the circumference of the insulating wires, so that it will not bite into the valley part.
