Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an FRP rod from being dropped out from a fixture, without the use of the other part by compressing the part except the tip part of the FRP rod inserted to an insert hole longitudinally in a fixed compression ratio, and compressing the top end part in a compression ratio which is lower than the fixed compression ratio. SOLUTION: The diameter of the circumference of an FRP rod insert hole 21 is formed in such a manner that the diameter D1 of the part where the tip part of an FRP rod 10 is situated is smaller than the diameter D2 of the other part. The end part of the FRP rod 10 is inserted into the insert hole 21 formed in a fixture 20, and the circumference of the insert hole 21 is compressed along the longitudinal direction with a fixed compression ratio by a compression die 50. The compressing force of the reduced diameter D1 part is smaller than that of the other diameter D2 part, and the outside diameter of the FRP rod 10 in the diameter D1 part is larger than the outside diameter of the FRP rod 10 in the other diameter D2 part. Thus, the tip part of the FRP rod exhibits a wedge effect.
