Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent adjacent microlens materials from coming into contact with each other even if microlenses are lessened in space between them in the manufacture of microlenses.
CONSTITUTION: A first process where a transparent layer 8a of molten lens resin material is selectively formed on a board and a second process where microlenses 8 are formed of the molten transparent layer 8a fused by heating are provided, and the transparent layer 8a is formed into a polygonal shape whose side 8b is located inside a line connected between the adjacent vertexes out of d, e, f, and g.
