To prevent generation of short-circuit failures and breakdown voltage failures, by forming and drying an electrode layer on one side of a film and then transferring the electrode layer onto a ceramic green sheet.
A stripe-shaped electrode layer 6 is formed on one surface of a film 5 and is dried to produce a stripe electrode layer sheet 7. Similarly, a ceramic green sheet 10 is produced by forming a ceramic green sheet material on a film. The stripe electrode layer sheet 7 and the ceramic green sheet 10 thus produced are arranged in such a manner that the surface of the electrode layer 6 opposite to the film 5 faces the surface of the ceramic green sheet 10 opposite to the film. Then, a press unit 12 heats and presses the film 5 onto the ceramic green sheet 10, thus transferring a predetermined portion of the electrode layer 6 onto the ceramic green sheet 10.
