Abstract:
PURPOSE: To manufacture a mopping fabric having washing resistance without reducing flexibility, a hygroscopic property, and a water holding property.
CONSTITUTION: Many paper sheets made of pulp fibers are laminated on a long-fiber web integrated with hydrophobic and thermoplastic long fibers, then a high-pressure water column flow is applied to the long-fiber web side from the paper sheet side to obtain a composite sheet complexly entangled with pulp fibers and long fibers and between pulp fibers. A foamed synthetic polymer resin-containing liquid is contained in the composite sheet at the ratio of 2-30wt.% against based on the absolute dry weight of the pulp fibers constituting the paper sheet, and it is heated and dried.
