PURPOSE: To form a cheap, nice-looking mouth piece for a jack by forming a metallic plate provided with a small hole into a cylindrical body centering the small hole and forming a flange part on an end of the cylindrical body in manufacturing a mouth piece for a jack.

CONSTITUTION: A small hole 2 is formed on a metallic plate such as a copper plate, and a cylindrical body 4 having specified diameter and length is formed by one process of embossing with a punch 3 centering around the small hole 2. The punch 3 is provided with an edge 5 for blanking, and the metallic plate 1 is blanked round at the time of embossing, and separated from the metallic plate 1. Thus, a mouth piece for a jack provided with a flange part on an end of the cylindrical body 4 is manufactured easily, and a better looking mouth piece than one made by drawing can be obtained at low cost.
