PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent fluid leakage and achieve the maintenance of the strength of a nipple part, by forming a socket part and the nipple part by plastic working, and finishing a head part by machining.
SOLUTION: A blank member 13 is plastically worked, thereby a first intermediate molded article 14 is formed. In this process, a socket 2 is formed, and also a projected part 15 is formed in an axial position in the inside of the socket part 2. A punch is press-fitted in the projected part 15 and extruded rearward, thereby a small diametral pipe, that is, a nipple part 3 is formed. Next, a screw part 5 and a groove part 11 are formed by machining, thereby a head part 4 is finished. Hereby, this manufacturing method becomes excellent in dimensional stability, can shorten a manufacturing process and is suited to mass production, and also occurrence of cut powder can be suppressed to the minimum. The socket part 2 and the nipple part 3 are integrally formed, therefore there is no possibility of oil leakage even though this manufacturing method is adapted to a high oil pressure hose.
