Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a natural fiber-touch and lustrous chemical fiber and a non-lustrous, coarse and slightly transparent polymer sheet by causing a polymer finished product to collide with the fine particles of an organic or an inorganic solid.

CONSTITUTION: A fabric which is made of a polymer raw thread 1 and undyed as one of polymer finished products, for example, is guided through a rotary drum 2 into an area A where an organic or an inorganic solid with a particle diameter of 0.1-2 mm, for example, corundum particles are caused to collide with the fabric. These corundum particles are supplied from a 1 m wide feed container 3 and their velocity is accelerated by an air current to be ejected from a 1 m-wide nozzle 4. The air is at a room temperature. The side, which runs into the corundum particles through a treatment, of the fabric is non- lustrous and is coarse by hand feeling. Further, the fabric is pliable and dense. The layer between the threads is uniform.
