Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a perforated headrest skin in which an insert having an annular core body part can be finished, and the sewing margin is never exposed to the outside even by a general sewing method.
SOLUTION: In a method of manufacturing a perforated headrest skin for covering a core part related to an insert 8 having a stay part 81 and an annular core body part 82, a skin lower surface part 7 forming the head rest lower surface is formed with a pair of stay holes 73 and a slit 74 for connecting both the stay holes being provided thereon, and a skin essential part G lacking only the skin lower surface part 7 is formed while the core body part 82 is integrated. Therefore, the skin lower surface part 7 is fitted to the skin essential part G covering the core body part 82 by utilizing the slit 74, the lower surface opening periphery of the skin essential part G and the periphery 79 of the skin lower surface part are sewed together so that the skin reverse side R is turned to the outside to form an annular cylinder, and the skin essential part G and the skin reverse side R of the skin lower surface part 7 are pushed into the annular cylinder and reversed.
