To manufacture a piston stably usable for a long period at a good yield by roughing a slide surface of a piston substrate by a chemical treatment and making a piston substrate surface suitable for an adhesion by an adhesive.
A chemical treatment for roughing a surface is carried out for a compression piston substrate 34a. Two cylindrical resin members 34b are fixed to the compression piston substrate 34a which has been subjected to chemical treatment at a predetermined distance by an adhesive. The surface of the piston 34a to which the resin member 34b is fixed is polished to form a compression piston 34. Accordingly, according to the manufacture order, a piston to which a piston seal is strongly fixed and formed on the surface is obtained at an extremely high yield.
