Abstract:

PURPOSE: To secure the manufacture of a plunger barrel in a fuel injection pump which promotes a reduction of machining time and working manhour.

CONSTITUTION: A hole of the same diameter with a control sleeve housing hole 18 is bored up to the midway of a blank from one end 100a of the blank and then this one end 100a of the blank is subjected to drawing so as to have a scheduled part of the control sleeve housing hole 18 left behind, and subsequently, a sliding hole 3a piercing through the other end 100b of the blank from the one end 100a is bored, and finally a window hole is opened in a hole wall of the control sleeve housing hole 18.
