PURPOSE: To manufacture a separating pipe made of permeable membrane of great mechanical strength, by making a number of holes in sheet base-material coated with polymer adhesive, by laminating the coated base material on a permeable membrane to form a tube, then by inserting a porous supporting tube into the membrane tube or vice versa, and by pressing and/or heating the tubes.
CONSTITUTION: Into a tubular permeable membrane 1 with its skin inside is inserted a suitable supporting pipe 5, then sheet base-material 2 having been coated with polymer adhesive and with many holes made in it is wound around the membrane tube 1. After removal of the supporting pipe 5, the tubular membrane is inserted into a porous supportint tube 4, and the assembled tube is pressed by water or hot-water pressure from the membrane 1 side in order to joint the base material 2 to the membrane 1 to form a composite permeable membrane A, at the same time, to fit the membrane A in the tube 4. As the membrane 1 is used, e.g., acetyl cellulose, as the base material, e.g., PE film, and as the polymer adhesive, e.g., a copolymer emulsion type adhesive consisting of methylmetacrylate, acrylic acid, and butyl acrylate.
