PURPOSE: To obtain a solid-state dye laser by combining a low melting-point fluoric phosphoric acid glass and an organic dye for laser.
CONSTITUTION: An organic dye is included within a low melting-point fluoric phosphoric acid glass whose glass transfer temperature is 200°C or less. For example, a fluoric phosphorus acid glass material whose glass transfer temperature is 200°C or less is weighed, crashed, mixed and fluxed for forming a fused liquid, one or more types of organic dyes are formed into this fused liquid at a temperature which is higher than the glass transfer temperature of the fluoric phosphorous acid glass and at a temperature which is lower than degradation temperature of the organic coloring matters, are stirred, and the stirred matter is casted into a mold, thus obtaining a solid-state dye laser easily.
