PURPOSE: To integratively form a main body made of spheroidal graphite cast iron and a sliding part made of flake graphite cast iron by arranging graphite flake-making promotor and pearlite-making promotor on the surface part of a mold and executing casting.
CONSTITUTION: A parts having the sliding part is manufactured by casting using the spheroidal graphite cast iron. Then, in the condition of arranging iron sulfide powder 20 as the graphite flake-making promotor changing the spheroidal graphite contained in the spheroidal graphite cast iron into the flake graphite and copper foil 22 as the pearlite-making promotor making the matrix structure in the spheroidal graphite cast iron the pearlite on the surface part of the position forming the sliding part in the mold 10, the casting is executed. The sliding part forming position is constituted of a core and the graphite flake-making promotor and the pearlite-making promotor is the iron sulfide powder and the copper powder respectively kneaded with molding sand for core and constituting the core together with the molding sand for core. By this method, the hardness on the sliding part in the cast iron parts is improved and the improvement of strength in the cast iron parts can be obtd.
