Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance dimensional stability and to reduce curling due to winding tendency without deteriorating the superior thermal, mechanical, physical, chemical, and optical characteristics of the PET(polyethylene terephthalate) support.
SOLUTION: The support of this photosensitive material is a laminate support comprising ≥2 layers composed essentially of a polyethylene terephthalate different from each other in the copolymerization component proportion and the outermost support layer different in this proportion of the other layer by 2-15mol%. The laminate support has a temperature expansion coefficient of ≤25×10-6/cm/cm/°C and a humidity expansion coefficient of ≤15×10-6/cm/cm/%RH, and at least one photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer is formed on the side of one of the 2 laminate layers lens in the copolymerization component proportion and it is used in a roll.
