Abstract:
To provide a manufacturing method of artificial hair capable of imparting a curl with a desired curvature; and to provide artificial hair having a curl with a gentle curvature.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of artificial hair having a fiber bundle 2 formed by bundling multiple fibers 3, in which a part of the fiber bundle 2 is extended with an arc curl, includes: a winding step for winding a part of the fiber bundle 2 in a coil or arc around a rod-like body; a heating step for heating the fiber bundle 2 wound around the outer periphery of the rod-like body; and a heat release step for releasing heat to room temperature from the fiber bundle 2 heated in the heating step. In the winding step, a winding angle of the fiber bundle 2 to the central axis of the rod-like body is adjusted so that a part of the fiber bundle 2 from which heat is released to the room temperature in the heat release step has a desired curvature.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
