Abstract:
A method of manufacturing a bar member 22 including a pipe 10 and metal members 17, 18 includes: a step of forming a core member including a metal ring 16 having an outer peripheral face 16A subjected to face roughening and a mandrel; a step of winding glass fibers 50 around the outer peripheral face 16A; a step of winding a carbon fiber prepreg 26 around the core member; a step of forming the pipe 10 externally fitted and fixed to the outer peripheral face 16A by baking and curing the carbon fiber prepreg 26; a step of pulling the mandrel out of the pipe 10; and a step of screwing together the metal members 17, 18 and the metal ring 16.
