The manufacturing method of a secondary battery electrode comprises processes of: forming a mixture layer 24 having an active material of a positive electrode or a negative electrode on a current collector 22 having a metal, a process of forming a coated layer 26 on a mixture layer 24; removing a volatile component contained in the mixture layer 24 and the coated layer 26; and pressing the mixture layer 24 together with the coated layer 26. The coated layer 26 has a particle of an inorganic and/or organic substance.
