Abstract:
To provide manufacturing methods for a can opening tab and can lid which prevent wrinkles from generating when a curl part is formed and capable of providing sufficient strength while preventing burrs which are generated when the can openings tab is cut off a metal material from positioning at an opening part of the can lid.
A tab nose for opening a can body is formed by pushing down a part of the can body, a carry point 219 is provided in a place other than a part in which the tab nose is formed, and an outer lance 218 is cut from a metal material M. A material escape notch 220 is formed at a part in which the tip of the tab nose is formed beforehand. After forming the curl part, the carry point 219 is cut.
