Abstract:

To promote an effective utilization of waste, and increase the moisture content of a molded plate in a screening method wherein moisture is apt to lack, make it easier to apply a deep and sharp uneven pattern, and apply a surface pattern having a favorable appearance while making the uneven pattern hard to collapse.

This ceramic based construction material is manufactured in such a manner that cement, silica sand and a pulp fiber as a reinforcing fiber are made main materials, and an aggregate, and a filler or the like which are required are added to the main materials by a ceramic based cement blending by a so-called screening method. In such a case, as the aggregate and the filler of the ceramic based cement blending material, dry scrap is used. Then, a coloidal silica is uniformly mixed in the whole of the blending materials containing the dry scrap, and then, a product is manufactured by the screening method. After a deep engraved uneven pattern is pressed on the surface of the product, the shape-retention of the product is increased by the gelation of the coloidal silica, and the product is cured under that state.
