Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a spiral-fin type heat exchanger having a fin spirally wound around an outer circumference of a tube with high adhesiveness between the tube and the fin, to ensure a uniform fin pitch, and to realize high heat exchange efficiency.SOLUTION: A tube 21 is supported on a ground electrode 42, and a fin 22 is guided at a preset helical angle between the ground electrode 42 and a disc-like feeder electrode 41 arranged above the ground electrode 42 from a fin receiving groove. A fin main body is held between the feeder electrode 41 and a fin guide, a fin base portion inserted between the feeder electrode 41 and the tube 21 is pressed by the feeder electrode 41, the fin 22 is wound while being R-molded by causing the tube 21 to move forward while rotating, and the fin 22 is welded by applying current between the two electrodes 41 and 42.
