PURPOSE: To manufacture thermosensitive stencil paper almost without warp under curl control by allowing paper to pass through a path with a curvature radius not larger than a specified size and with a recessed section on the lamination material side and a projecting section on the film side.
CONSTITUTION: Ink permeable base is attached, in laminated form, to thermocontracting plastic film, and the materials are allowed to pass continuously through a curved path B with a curvature radius not larger than 5mm and the plastic film side C set outside and the base side C inside, in the process of winding of finished product. Consequently, a recessed sharp curl is temporarily provided to the base side C and this results in the manufacture of easy-to- handle thermosensitive stencil paper with a permanent deformation in the curl direction. The smaller is curvature radius of the path for lamination material passage and the smaller is an angle formed by the inlet and outlet of this path with a small radius, the more significant the curl correction effects of the lamination material to the film side are. Therefore, the correction effects are adjusted by adjustment of the inlet and outlet angles.
