Abstract:

To bond a resin frame member strongly and easily around the outer periphery of a solid polymer electrolyte membrane constituting a level difference MEA by a simple process.

In the manufacturing method of an electrolyte membrane/electrode structure 10 with a resin frame, a first adhesive agent 26a composing an adhesive layer 26 located near the inside wall 24b is applied to the inner peripheral protrusion 24a of a resin frame member 24. After the first adhesive agent 26a is semi-cured, the inner peripheral protrusion 24a of a resin frame member 24 is coated with a second adhesive agent 26b in a range other than the coating range of the first adhesive agent 26a. Furthermore, a solid polymer electrolyte membrane film 18 and the inner peripheral protrusion 24a are boded by the first adhesive agent 26a and second adhesive agent 26b.
