Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crystal grain refining agent containing AlFeTiintermetallic compound particle having an L1structure with smaller unconformity degree δ than conventional ones to cast aluminum or cast aluminum alloy.SOLUTION: A crystal gain refining agent is manufactured by dispersing spherical AlFeTiintermetallic compound particle having an L1structure manufactured by a gas atomization device in a parent phase mainly containing aluminum and the crystal grain refining agent is added to a molten metal of cast aluminum or cast aluminum alloy and the molten metal is injected to a mold.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
