Then, when the suspension reaches a prescribed position, suction of the suspension is stopped, and the interior of the glass tube 22 is opened. In the drying process, drying air 38 is made to flow in from the upper end opening of the glass tube 22, and an air curtain 40 is formed on the outer circumference of the glass tube 22.
